I'm sure you have all noticed that releases have been extremely, extremely inconsistent for the past month or so. Just to be candid with you all, this has been a mix of a lot of reasons: coronavirus = working from home, which blurs the lines between work and home, addiction to a certain series of video games (Yakuza, I'm looking at you), and most importantly, med school apps are opening tomorrow. I've spent a lot of time writing essays, researching schools, gathering letters of recommendation, etc., and I just think I need a little bit of time to take care of those things. To get an idea for just how complicated this application is, just know that AMCAS has an official 84-page guide for your application, and that doesn't even include the bucketloads of secondaries I will probably need to write.

On another note, regarding the status of the novel: many of you know that there is only one final book, with about 100 or so chapters left to go before its conclusion. I have been translating this novel on and off...

Hi all, just got back from Houston. Was planning on posting the stuff I aggregated (~ 5 chapters, so not that much) over Thanksgiving break but my flight got diverted back to Austin cause we had a medical emergency onboard. Thankfully the guy is ok but right now it's ~2 AM Houston time and I'm beat from traveling for about 8 or 9 hours. Will post tomorrow. Thanks for your patience, you guys.

Hi all, sorry for the recent delay in chapters yet again - I was building up again when I was involved with a workplace accident and almost lost my entire index fingernail. Thankfully the injury wasn't too serious, but as you might imagine it hurts like crazy just even to type out this post so I haven't really been able to translate too much. I tried typing without my index fingers but the progress is just way too slow, so I won't be able to catch up with what I need to post probably until tomorrow. Thanks for your patience.

Apologies for vanishing again - MCAT studying is back with a vengeance! The exam itself is in FIVE DAYS and the stress and pressure is mounting. For the sake of my own well-being, and so that I can do as well as I possibly can on the test, I will hold off on translating until the test is over. Sorry for lack of posting lately, and no worries - the series is NOT being dropped. I just have an exam that I've been putting off studying for on Wednesday xD coupled with work and then also trying to cram for studying for the MCAT, translation has had to take a backseat the past few days.
